Beschreibung

The Chateau Montelena 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc.

The wine features aromas of fresh blueberries, blackberry pie and cassis, with baking spices including vanilla, clove and cinnamon, plus a dense and chewy texture showcasing bright red fruit, fine grain tannins and incredible tension.

The 2021 vintage yields a Cabernet with vibrant aromas of black currant, cedar, and subtle floral notes, with concentrated dark fruit flavors balanced by fine tannins and hints of graphite and spice.

This midnight black colored wine opens with black currant and graphite bouquet with hints of new leather, moist pipe tobacco, and blueberry.

The flavor profile of black currant and oak blend with notes of toasted coconut and graphite.

Robert Parker scored it 95-97 Points.

Chateau Montelena, famous for winning the 1976 Judgment of Paris, continues to produce benchmark Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Matt Crafton's 2021 Cab has already claimed numerous accolades and is an amazing bargain for the price.
