Beschreibung

The Heitz Cellar Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the more sought-after wines from the Napa Valley region.

Since 1966, Heitz Cellar has been crafting the Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, one of their three vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignons.

The thirty-four acre Martha's Vineyard is nestled in the folds of the Oakville bench along the western side of Napa Valley, tucked against the Mayacamas mountains in the Oakville AVA.

The wine undergoes an extensive aging process, waiting five years while aging in French Limousin oak barrels before release.

This extended aging gives the wine its characteristic eucalyptus and mint notes, combined with dark fruit, tobacco, and earth.

Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has been one of California's most celebrated wines since the 1960s, earning a place in wine history as one of the first single-vineyard designated Cabernets in America.

The wine is known for its remarkable aging potential, with older vintages drinking beautifully for 30+ years.

Heitz Cellar continues to be family-owned and operated, maintaining the traditional winemaking practices that made these wines famous.
